The Oscar’s best dressed has been on everyones watch today. With Instagram hashtags taking one hell of a beating. Each and every one of us drawling over images and sharing our views on the Actresses that graced the red carpet. The Hollywood event of the year saw the world’s best actresses being eye balled by the paparazzi. And of course us (the fellow judges). Forget the awards for best actress ….. it’s all about the dress after all.

OUR BEST DRESSED OSCAR AWARD

Oscars best dress for us quite simply goes to Jennifer Lawrence. Totally head over heels with her complete killer look. This little metallic Versace number delivered on glitz and glam. The simple ‘barely there’ styling did it for us too. Those loose locks and dark yet playful make up tones were spot on. Jennifer you completed nailed it!.

OSCARS BROUGHT BRIDAL INSPO

It didn’t go unnoticed, some stars turned up in dresses that could quite easily be passed as bridal attire. We squilled with excitement when ‘another’ star followed the 2018 trend.  Lets start with Margot Robbie, didn’t she look devine in this custom made Chanel boosting crystal embellishment. Fresh faced make up and a beaming smile this lady barely puts a foot wrong when it comes to the fashion steaks.

Rocking up the red carpet, 80 year old Jane Fonda proved that age is nothing but a number. With everyones eyes on this fitted Balmain gown with crystal embellishment. Umm .. and did you see that neck line?. Hook, line and sinker we have fallen head over heels (take note Bridal Designers) . Styled with stunning drop earrings, this completed suited Jane’s hair style and didn’t add any danger to that fabulous neckline we wont be forgetting this look in a hurry.

Laura Dern strutted her thing in Calvin Klein By Appointment. With a deep plunging neckline and a single shoulder to add to the interest of the gown. Loved because of the simplicity.  Added by a classic cascading wave to complete the look – it’s a huge YES from us.

THE DARKER SIDE

So whilst some stars opted for the ‘White’ Oscars trend, there were others who steered to the darker side. So we would all love to look like a Victoria’s secret model right ? There is no getting away from Lily Aldridge (girl crush right there) opting for a sexy chain metal Versace number. She also didn’t forget the golden rule when showing some leg, and remained elegant by covering up on top!. Leslie Bibb dressed to impress in this sheer tulle gown with detailed sequins, the shape of this dressed flattered and gave room to celebrate at the after party. Start as you mean to go on,Gal Gadot sparkled in head to toe sequins from Givenchy , not to mention the statement necklace that we cannot take our eyes off.
